The Dutch Oven is a welcome addition to my kitchen cooking tools. It is a generous size, ideal for a whole chicken or roast. The cast-iron heating is consistent, and everything cooks perfectly.
This pot is beautiful, well made, strong, and versatile with the top that can be used as a stove top or oven grill. Kudos to Misen for a well engineered product!
Let me preface this by saying that I'm an international customer from a country with insane import taxes (a total of 78%, yes, that crazy), so every time I shop for premium kitchen equipment, I spend months of research to make my money's worth.
I've handled other premium Dutch ovens and knew what to expect from them, but a few YouTube videos showcased a pot with a different form factor, and the more I researched it, the more I liked it and decided to give it a go.
Easily one of the best decisions of my life. Misen's Dutch Oven is even better than expected in all aspects. Impeccable construction, really heavy for maximum heat retention, but reasonable weight when using the silicone lid for day-to-day tasks, can be used upside down for hassle-free bread baking. Kudos to the people who designed it. They thought of everything.
This pot is so good that every other piece of kitchen equipment I've bought since has been Misen's, and I already have 4 more items in my cart waiting for when I have the funds again (the taxes, man, the taxes). The quality is just THAT good.
