Each of our products is the result of months of product development. It’s a quest to nail down features and materials that will enhance your cooking experience. Designers, engineers, professional chefs and beginning home cooks all have a hand in assessing each prototype, allowing us to chisel away what isn’t needed, and keep the stuff that makes a difference. The result is cookware that delivers “premium” results, at an affordable price.

Our Story

It Started With An Onion, and No Tears

At a certain point in our cooking journey, we realized our crappy cookware was holding us back. Can you cook with a dull knife and flimsy pans? Sure, but they’ll work against you. It wasn’t until we finally got our hands on a great knife and diced an onion within seconds without crying, that we had our epiphany — great tools make the job easier, and that’s especially true in the kitchen. 

The realization that we needed better cookware was one thing. Actually buying it was a whole different story.

Frustrating was an understatement. From the sticker shock of seeing a single pan cost $200 to the confusing buying experience filled with technical jargon that seemed almost meaningless. Out of this experience — Misen was born.

You shouldn't have to choose between cheap, low-quality kitchen tools and overpriced “premium” brands.

We hated those options, so we decided to do something better.
