Questions?

Are stainless steel pans difficult to care for?

Not at all! Throw them in the dishwasher, let them soak overnight, sear on high-heat — our stainless steel cookware can take anything and truly lasts a lifetime.

Will my pans be nonstick?

Stainless Steel is not nonstick, however, there are ways to make the surface temporarily nonstick before each cooking session.
To do this, heat the pan over medium heat for 2 minutes, add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil and swirl it around the pan. When you see smoke turn off the heat. Let the pan cool down and wipe out any excess oil. Your pan is now temporarily seasoned and should remain nonstick until you wash it with soap!

Is the cookware induction compatible?

Definitely!

How do I clean stains and discoloration off of the pans?

Use Bar Keeper's Friend, (baking soda will also work!), water, and a lightly abrasive sponge.

Doesn’t every company on earth claim their stuff is better?

Yep! That’s why we tend to let our reviews do the talking. At Misen, our goal is to make great products and sell them for fair and honest prices. That’s what value means to us.

    Good quality but small

I purchased this pan to use in my toaster oven. While it was of good quality, it is quite small. I returned it and placed an order for a larger size in the new carbon steel.

    Perfect size for toaster oven.

I love this pan. As someone who’s single and lives alone I’m always cooking for one. I love this small roaster. It fits perfect in my countertop toaster oven and is great for my small portioned meals.

    Stainless roasting pan

I love this pan. Roasted proteins and vegetables are awesome. Deglaze the pan with some wine and stock makes a great sauce.

    Quick first thought

Bought for double burner griddle for induction cooktop. Best option due size, flat bottom, attractive to sit on counter, and could double inside oven (27"). First thoughts, wish bottom finish was glossier, idky, doesn't mattter. First annoyance, I bought the biggest 18", and I have a 27" oven combo, but the shelve rack in a wire rack, not the embossed walls. The handles dont have perfect clearance so it hovers like 0.5mm above the shelf. Not a worry if doing light stuff, but if Im doing a chicken, Im wondering if it gonna get wedged in. If Misen could just tweek the handle angle a degree or two it would be awesome, but I will try to live with it because my first goal was a double burner griddle. Feels solid.

Lost star bc everytime I go to different section on phone, it erases my review.

A 5-Ply Stainless Steel Roasting Pan Built for Big Meals

This 5-ply Stainless Steel Roasting Pan is designed to earn its spot in the oven year-round, whether you’re roasting a weeknight main, tackling holiday meals, or cooking for a crowd with leftovers in mind. All sizes share the same core build and usability details, so choosing the right option mostly comes down to the footprint you want, plus whether you want to add a roasting rack to help promote browning.

To choose a size, start with how you actually cook. The 9" is described as “small and seriously useful,” which makes it a strong fit for single servings, sides, and any roast where a full-size pan would crowd out your oven. The 13" is positioned as the everyday option, big enough for weeknight mains while staying manageable. The 18" is the one to reach for when you’re planning on leftovers or cooking for a crowd, especially for large roasts and holiday meals.

Across the line, the performance story is the construction. The pan uses 5-ply stainless steel with a 3.0mm thickness for excellent heat retention and more even heating with fewer hot spots. Extra-wide handles help you keep a secure grip (even with oven mitts), and the 1.5-inch side walls are designed for airflow and browning while also offering spill protection. If you’re building a coordinated setup, browse more stainless steel cookware to match the roasting pan’s material and everyday durability.

For workflow, it is compatible with half-sheet size wire racks and baking mats, which is useful if you already cook with that standard. The pan is also warp-resistant, induction compatible, and oven safe up to 800°F (also listed as 426°C), so it can move from stovetop to oven without switching cookware. If you’re comparing materials and styles across your kitchen, the broader cookware lineup can help you keep everything consistent.

If you want more lift under your food for crisping, Misen’s silicone roasting racks are designed to gently raise food while it roasts, so it crisps instead of steams. For care and best results with stainless steel, preheat the empty pan on medium-high for 3 to 4 minutes, or until a splash of water forms round balls that bounce around the surface, then cook with oil or butter. It is dishwasher safe, and for stubborn stains the page recommends Bar Keeper’s Friend or baking soda with a rub. For deeper cleanup tips, see stainless steel pan care.

Frequently Asked Questions About Stainless Steel Roasting Pans

Which roasting pan size makes the most sense for everyday meals?

The 13" option is described as big enough for weeknight mains while still feeling practical for everyday cooking. Choose the 9" for single servings and sides when a full-size pan would be overkill. Step up to the 18" when you’re cooking for a crowd or planning on leftovers.

Is this roasting pan oven safe for high-heat roasting?

Yes. The Stainless Steel Roasting Pan is listed as oven safe up to 800°F (also shown as 426°C on the page). That range supports high-heat roasting and finishing dishes in the oven without needing to transfer to another pan.

Can I use the Stainless Steel Roasting Pan on induction?

Yes. The product page lists the pan as induction compatible. It is also described as warp-resistant, which is helpful when you’re moving between stovetop cooking and the oven during a roast.

How do I preheat stainless steel properly before cooking?

Preheat the empty pan on medium-high for 3 to 4 minutes, or until a splash of water forms round balls that bounce around the surface. Then add oil or butter before cooking. This technique is recommended on the page to help stainless steel perform at its best.

What’s the easiest way to clean it after roasting?

The pan is dishwasher safe for everyday cleanup. If you run into stubborn stains, the page recommends applying Bar Keeper’s Friend or baking soda and rubbing to remove marks. Those steps are a simple way to keep stainless steel looking good over time.
