Nice cookware

I bought a set for my son, and we tried it out for a week. Cooked all our meals on it. Very nice: quick and even heating with no obvious hot spots, easy clean up, good balance, and cool handles. Very pleased.

Nice!

Glad I switch to SS, always used non-stick. It's different to cook with, You-tube it to learn, lot of videos that show you how. Don't use olive oil! I learned the hard way, now I use peanut oil. Oil smoke point higher. Have a good exhaust fan helps and a temperature reader also helps you get use to preheat time & temperature. Best thing I saw was don't move food for for a certain time until it gets ready to move, you-tube that also. Browning hamburger was awesome! All the juices stayed in the meat, unlike non-stick skillets. These pans are the best as far as I'm concerned. Get a non-scratch pad & bars-keeper for cleaning and then use soap & water last. I wouldn't throw them in dish washer, but you can.

The Heavyweight of pans

I'm a pretty skilled home-cook, and I am a bit tough on my pans. (A chef would likely smack me for being so hard on them.) So, I need pans that can work for everything I need. I've had a set of T-Fal nonstick pans for a good 15 years now, but wanted to just get something newer so that I can have a set of nonstick and stainless that are the same. First thing I noticed when opening the stainless set is how heavy they are -- considerably heavier than my T-Fal nonstick set (and most others that I have ever had). A heavy pan is a happy pan since it conducts heat better. I immediately started noticing the difference in the way my food turned out having the Misen stainless steel set. From being able to control heat better, the food cooking more evenly, and the overall strength of the pan, to the sleek finish, great design, and the feel of the handles, I immediately became satisfied with this investment. I'd strongly recommend them for anyone looking for a good quality cookware set.
