You will use this often
I just got this Dutch Oven a few weeks ago and I have already used it at least 8 times. It is so much lighter than my old cast iron one, but it cooks the same. I love it and how easy it is to clean.

vs cast iron
purchased to use instead of cast iron in the outdoor oven/grill/smoker. non-reactive stainless suites me better much of the time. I have cast iron dutch ovens for other uses like cooking with charcoal but stainless seams like a better all around option. durability and heat retention are on par with cast iron. maybe a -1 on heat retention but a +1 on durability. Misen products are all very well built, like generational quality well built. I own Misen carbon steel, stainless, and even some non-stick. Every item well worth the cost.
My son had bought this product and recommended it to me. I cannot tell you how happy I am with this Dutch oven. It is beautiful, light weight, holds the heat evenly throughout and cooks my pot roasts amazingly. I had to have my husband place my cast iron Dutch oven into the oven for me and take it out because it was just too heavy. Now, I can easily do this task on my own. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Best purchase ever.

Love it!
Haven’t used 6.75 dutch oven a lot, yet, but I can tell you it is beautiful and rivals most of my all clad in small yet elevated ways. The edges are finished, which means I would feel it is dishwasher safe. Love it too much not to wash it by hand, though! I was amazed at how quickly water boiled, I usually have to wait and get impatient, but lo and behold, it was a rolling boil in no time at all. Can’t wait to use it more, solid purchase.
