Our cookware is made from a 3.0 mm thick, 5-layer (5-ply) composite of stainless steel and aluminum for superior heat conduction and retention. All cookware is compatible with gas, electric, and induction cooktops.

First use I noticed the pan has a hot spot. I don't understand how something has "even heat displacement " and a hot spot? I'm not the happiest with this purchase.

I'd always steered away from stainless steel pans remembering from my youth having to scrub them with steel wool and a lot of elbow grease. But I was getting tired of having to buy a new non-stick pan every other year. Following the instructions my new 10 inch pan cooks beautifully - really superior for browning - and always cleans up with a sponge, soap and water. I'm looking forward to using this pan for rest of my life.
