Pre-seasoned for nonstick cooking
Lifetime Guarantee Against Defects
A natural (and better) alternative to traditional nonstick. Carbon Steel becomes more nonstick the more you use and will last forever. If you’re tired of replacing old nonstick pans that start sticking, then this is a pan you’ll love.
We believe in honesty at Misen. We don’t think every product is right for every person. Here’s what you should consider before buying.
So far, so good.
I was surprised at how much heavier it is compared to the one I was replacing. Also, for cooking eggs, it was not the least bit pre-seasoned. It also cooks much hotter than the Misen skillet I was replacing and the heat is not even over the bottom. Big bummer!!
This pan is great. I've always been a cast iron person. This pan is 1) lighter and 2) sears better than my by this time vintage cat iron. I took some of the seasoning off last night making a lemon sauce for my beautifully seared fish. Oh well. I'm confident it will come back!
These pans are just what our family was looking for. They heat up quickly and maintain even heat. With minimal oil this pan is nonstick and most important, non toxic. It gets this beautiful patina as you use it. Easy to clean and I appreciate being able to use it from stove to oven. Durable for teenage cooks is also a major benefit. I am pleased we bought the 10 & 12 inch set.
Love the pan in terms of function, but the pan is discoloring and I don't know why. Just made eggs a couple of times, a quesadilla once, and cooked spinach in it. This is what it looks like after 4 uses. Washing gently, seasoning it, and it doesn't help.
