  • Hand wash with lukewarm, soapy water. Dry thoroughly, especially the slot and base.
  • Do not put modules in dishwasher or soak in water.
  • Modules are intended to be installed on a flat horizontal surface. Do not attempt to install on a wall or in vertical orientation.

What are the weight and dimensions of large and small pieces?

• The large pieces are 15.75" (L) x 2.25" (W) and 2.5" (H) and weigh 2lbs. They fit in all standard kitchen drawers.
• The small pieces are 6.57" (L) x 1.65" (W) x 2.08" (H) and weigh .25lbs.

What knives fit the small and large pieces?

• The large pieces can safely fit up to an 11" knife – not that we've ever seen too many of those in most home kitchens!
• The small pieces can safely fit up to a 6" knife. If you have Misen knives, we recommend using this for our Paring, 5” Serrated, Utility, and Steak knives.

How do I clean it?

Unlike wood knife storage, Misen Modular Knife Storage is safe to clean with water and soap. To clean, simply run under warm water and use non-abrasive soaps and sponges. Let them air dry completely before returning knives to the pieces. And make sure not to submerge in water or soak for long periods of time.

Please note: Unfortunately, it is not dishwasher safe. But you can hand wash without any issues!

Is the material unsafe or toxic?

Misen Modular Knife Storage is made from a highly-durable thermoplastic called ABS which is free of all PFAS. It's known for its long-term durability and strength and is found in loads of common household items.

Will the knife storage show any scratch marks?

The system is made from a highly durable thermoplastic that’s totally safe for your knife blades. It’s scratch-resistant, but some wear and tear may show with time.

What surfaces do the knife storage modules work on?

It's compatible with any flat, horizontal surface in your kitchen. We designed this to work in all drawers and all types of kitchen counters. (But not on the wall! We don't recommend installing it vertically.)

    Keeps Knives Safe

    I have the knife holder that holds 3 knives. It is very neat and I really like it but I wish I had more room I. My drawer for more extensions. It takes a lot of room and only holds 3 knives. It keeps the knives very neat and safe. If I had more room I would order more but unfortunately I don’t.

    A truly great product

    I ordered three “large” and two “small” knife storages. The small racks are clamped between the large ones using magnets. Given my ratio of 3 to 2, it makes a stable storage solution. In addition, the underside of the large storage units has reusable adhesive pads that guarantee a non-slip storage in the drawer. or wherever you want to place the arrangement.

    I am very satisfied with my purchase. Thumbs up :-)

    My husband will finally stop complaining

    We wanted to declutter our counter space, but my husband is precious snout his knives being in drawers. The modular knife store was the ultimate solution.

    Beyond expectations

    I have a collection of knives from years of culinary work, and travel. Knives are my favorite and most used tools in the kitchen and the Misen storage is by far the best I’ve ever had. The length and magnet strength are perfect - that matters! Being able to tailor them to my needs has helped too. I have them in three drawers for specific uses. The honing steels and shears fit nicely in spaces between two larger sizes.
