I have a local bread store that makes the best sour dough crusty breads but they are difficult to slice. Not with this knife! I’ve tried several different knives over the past few years -even an electric knife advertised as a good choice for cutting bread, and not one of them even comes close to my new Misen bread knife. I have had a 6” serrated for a while now and have been using it on vegetables and small rolls and such.
It has been a real go to kitchen tool for me. We started eating artisan style breads and we needed a bigger knife. What better knife to get than one similar to a good knife I already have.

This eight inch serrated knife works great for slicing loaves of bread, cutting thin slices of tomatoes, or cutting a very large bagel in half. It is much handier than its smaller six inch counterpart. Go bigger, it's wy better!
I was having such a hard time with my old bread slicer getting straight, even slices when cutting through a loaf of bread. Since I like thin slices of bread, this became a real problem. The separated blades didn't catch the bread very well and I would often get uneven slices. Now I can cut nice, straight slices quickly, evenly like I was cutting through butter, as thin as I want them, with my new Misen bread knife.
