The Delicate Knife Full of Power

The serrated knife is often called the bread knife (and who are we to argue, given 90% of the time we use it to slice through delicious crusty breads), but don’t let the name fool you.

This kitchen workhorse is delicate enough to gently and quickly slice through soft foods without damaging them, but strong enough to saw through virtually anything you put in front of it. It’s a must-have for every home cook, and a knife you’ll find yourself using more and more.

Features

Premium Japanese Steel

Misen knives are made with AICHI steel, which offers an excellent balance of sharp edge retention and durability and has significantly more carbon content than other “premium” knives.

Unique Sloped Bolster

Our unique sloped bolster pulls double duty: the sloped shape encourages a proper “pinch grip” for comfort and control, while the bolster’s placement creates better access to the full length of the blade.

Perfect Points

32 pointed tips with deep and wide serrations for optimal “bite” and smoother cuts.

Fantastic Bread Knife

I recently ordered this Misen bread knife as my 9 yr. old Forschner has been struggling to cut through the artisan boules I have been making. The Misen is doing a much better job on the more challenging cutting tasks, such as the boules. It has nice balance, the blade length (10”) also works well, as I like longer bladed knives. I would not hesitate to purchase another Misen knife. I highly recommend this knife if you make bread/pizza often. Thank you, Misen for producing such a high quality product.

Good

Feels sturdy, large, and long. Cuts a little better than my inexpensive bread knife. Not as good as my Wusthof bread knife. Got on a deal so it was overall a good purchase.

Really solid knife

I primarily use my serrated knife for bread, and occasionally to help get through tough winter squash skins before roasting. I've had my Misen serrated knife for a couple months now, and it has performed exceptionally. My previous serrated knife was from a company I'd call mid-grade, and the difference between the two is clear as day.

It’s a bread sword.

Fantastic bread knife. The knife is too long to fit in my knife block. I call the knife my bread sword.

Just what the baker ordered!!

Like many others, one of my daughters has taken up baking bread during the pandemic, so I ordered the serrated knife for her birthday. What a hit!!! Because she cooks a lot for her family, I then went ahead and ordered the chef's knife and paring knife as early holiday presents. She couldn't be more pleased -- she carefully wrapped up the rest of her cooking knives and donated them to the garbage can. Two more daughters to go! Then we'll try pans. :) THANK YOU MISEN!!!
