Professional view
Great professional type of cutlery, nice feel, holds their edge. However they seem too large/ long for the average person. Maybe a 10” French knife, the serrated knife is extremely long, longer than the French knife the pairing knife is good size.
I own several professional knife sets, Henckels, Wusthofs and Kramer’s. The handle material feels very comfortable.
I’d recommend this set for professional only, due to the length of the Essentials

Bought 2 knives and 2 sharpening stones
I like the feel of the handles, sort of surprised how often I need to sharpen, use wood cutting boards. Stones work good.
