All the edges are smooth including the inside of the handles which makes cleaning easy and prevents sponges from getting shredded when getting into the nooks and crannies. It is such a joy to turn the heftiest of steaks with these tongs which do not flex at all (as compared to the cheap sheet metal tongs from other brands). I bought these tongs thinking they’d be really mid. They are so strong and the perfect size for any kitchen. A pot cracked in my oven and I was able to pick up the insanely hot pieces with this. Highly recommend and if you don’t have these, consider your kitchen incomplete. x
