    Impressive!

    I bought 2 pans, a 8" & 12". I gave the 12" to my mom who was (retired) a lifetime professional cook, etc. She's never used a preseasoned carbon pan before that she's aware of. We talked about it then put it use. The Misen YouTube videos helped with the "how to use." It's turned out great! Many years to come on the know how. I and mom Highly recommend Misen carbon steel pans!

    Delighted--so far

    We bought this frying pan after we had bought the carbon steel wok, which also delighted us. However, we soon had food sticking to the wok and have had to re-season it after every use. (That may be because we use it at high temperatures.) We're waiting to see if we have to do the same with the frying pan. For now the frying pan certainly is a valuable addition to the kitchen.

    Misen does it again

    I've used Misen products since their beginning... original non-stick frying pans, carbon steel, kitchen shears and now the new pre-seasoned carbon steel frying pan. I've put it through it's paces and it is another winner. Preheat (as you should do with all carbon steel), drop in a little oil/butter/fat and away we go. I'm impressed with the non-stick of this carbon steel pan. It really is some magic. I purchased the 10" pan to test and it passed with flying colors. I cook a lot. A LOT. I have tri-clad stainless steel, vintage cast iron and my carbon steel. I find myself reaching for this pan more than all the rest now. I will be completing the set.
