I actually bought this knife for my wife as she uses this for removing skin from fruit. So far she is very happy with the knife as it is shape and fits nicely in her hand.
I replaced a ten-yr old stainless scraper with this one. Love the grip and the size fits perfectly in my drawer & slides in and out easily.
The only reason is bought a new one of these honing and sharpening rods is that I was using it outdoors while preparing a brisket to smoke and it dropped off the table and shattered. My dumb mistake. I won’t be taking the new one outside.
