For years I’ve owned one of the “high end” brand sets of pots and pans.
In a new home I’m finding those “investments” are not working well with my induction stove: their bottoms are not as flat as one would infer from their double sidedness (and price tag). They have wobbled & spun ‘round whilst my stove clicked at their inconsistent contact and cooked food on one side of the pan while the other corner waited for some heat
So after 2 years of grumbling and jealously watching Pro Home Cook on YouTube, I took his advice and I threw in the towel. I could not be happier
This Misen pan is leaps above that other brand, with the price tag adding to that favor. It’s quite heavy & cooks perfectly evenly. I have returned to enjoying cooking. I love this pan. I love that it’s quality isn’t an insult to any normal persons budget. I am looking forward to investing in more as time goes by
One thing to note is that the pan is heavy. It is not an issue for me but some with wrist weakness may want to note that this would be a two-hander for them. And I’d still recommend it.
