We’ve used it for sauces that I finish with butter. Mixing with a whisk leaves no area unmixed as it had in my straight sided pan. Also works great when scalding milk for hot morning cereal.

The 3QT saucier is perfect for my busy 4 person family. I can make a quick breakfast soup for one or cook up the sauce for pasta for the four of us, no problem. I love the rounded bottom- no more edges to trap cooked on food. And the lid fits perfectly. My only hesitation (and it's minor) is that picking the pan up in my left hand can be a bit tricky as it's heavy and the handle is long. I might have liked an additional small handle on the opposite site (although that would make it harder to store in my pan drawers). All in all, an awesome addition to my Misen-full kitchen!

This pan is heavy in a good way. I have some other pans that don’t spread and retain heat as well as this one. Very happy with it so far. I feel like a real chef when I’m using stainless.

I love cooking with these pans. Great shape, great construction, wonderful to cook with. I have the 1.5Q, 2Q & 3Q. The only thing I'd change - and I've asked Misen to do this - is to make the pot lid handles just a tad taller so they could slide onto the handles to store them together when on a pot rack. It's really only a difference of a few millimeters, but the option to store them this way would make a huge difference in my small kitchen.
