    Light Bulb Moment!

I eat a lot of spaghetti squash and they require digging and scraping to remove seeds before cooking, then scraping the pulp off once baked. I’ve used a serrated ‘grapefruit’ spoon for years which was effective but small. This large spoon is perfect for the task! It has cut my prep time down, made the job much easier and washes in the dishwasher perfectly! I even bought one for my sister, as I was so excited about this light bulb moment!

    So handy!

My second serrated spoon purchase. Purchased as a gift because I find this design super useful for dishing up desserts and savory foods.

Why the Serrated Edge Makes This Chef Spoon Essential

The Serrated Chef Spoon is one of those tools that quietly replaces two or three others in your drawer. That serrated edge along the bowl lets you slice through spaghetti squash, break up ground meat right in the pan, or portion a baked dessert without reaching for a knife first. It's a genuinely different job than what you'd get from a Scraper Chef Spoon or a Slotted Chef Spoon, both of which are built for their own specific tasks in the same family of tools.

Made from 316 stainless steel, this spoon holds up to daily use, resists warping, and goes from stovetop to dishwasher without special care. It's heat-safe to 800°F, so you can leave it resting in a hot pan while you finish a sauce. If serrated edges are your thing in the kitchen, it's worth browsing Misen's serrated knives as well — the same cutting logic applies whether you're portioning a roast or scraping seeds from squash.

Paired with other pieces from the Spooniverse lineup, like the Plating Chef Spoon, it rounds out a set built so each tool has one clear job, rather than forcing one spoon to do everything imperfectly.
