My kitchen is full of Misen stainless and carbon steel products. Everything is excellent quality and this pan is no different. The size and function of this pan is excellent for daily use. Most recently used to prepare ramen broth while cooking the noodles separately. Sear some protein. Sauté some veggies to impose some extra flavor then hard steam to finish. Add your favorite flavors then combine cooked noodles and saved protein. Perfect.
Only disappointment was not being able to steam with a steam basket - just too shallow for that but no big deal.

Perfect replacement!
I had a high end Anodized aluminum all purpose pan prior to this, and my Misen pan beats that old one in every way. Great searing, heat control, and big enough to cook lots of food in it. It's an excellent bridge between a large Saucier and a Dutch Oven.

Great Size
See my comments on other pangs I have reviewed. This pan gives me size capacity without being too big or heavy. Good size for those one pot meals. Love my Misen!
