The Dutch Oven is a welcome addition to my kitchen cooking tools. It is a generous size, ideal for a whole chicken or roast. The cast-iron heating is consistent, and everything cooks perfectly.
This pot is beautiful, well made, strong, and versatile with the top that can be used as a stove top or oven grill. Kudos to Misen for a well engineered product!
I’ve been cooking with my Misen 7 QT Enameled Dutch Oven since 2021, and I’m here to confirm: it absolutely lives up to its promise. The interior enamel is still flawless—smooth, non-stick, and spotless after tons of braises, roasts, soups, and no-knead breads. That four-layer enamel is no joke. The handles have a few small chips—I’ll own that, I’m not always gentle (ahem, cast-iron weight + rushing). But honestly? It doesn’t affect performance one bit. It still looks nice enough to live on my counter for our carnivore adventure of daily sous vide steaks.
The pot itself is a tank: heat retention is exceptional, the wide base browns a full batch of meat in one go, and I wash it in the dishwasher constantly. I thought I’d use the flip-over grill lid all the time… turns out, not so much. But here’s the genius part: no knob on the lid. That means it slides perfectly into my Breville smart oven (Pro model). Now I use the Breville’s slow-cook settings with this Dutch oven—no more bulky crock pot hogging cabinet space.
Misen built this to last, and it shows. If you want a Dutch oven that earns its spot on your stove (or counter) for years, this is it. Worth every penny I paid.
