So glad I bought this peeler. I already had the Misen knives and I knew they were great. I already had an OXO Good-Grips peeler that served me very well. In keeping with the other Misen cutlery though, it's really sharp and "ups my game" even further. Also, as soon as you take it in your hand, you can feel the quality.

I have long wondered if the ergonomics of this style of peeler were better for peeling vegetables and fruits. Without a doubt, I am happy to say that I now much prefer this straight handled peeler with the blade perpendicular to the handle over the older style wherein the blade is parallel to the handle. I experienced much less fatigue and a better cut on everything I have used it on.
