Description

Everyone needs at least one nonstick pan for eggs, and to cook other delicate, stick-prone foods – fish, pancakes, the French toast you’ve left on the burner too long. Here’s the truth: no nonstick pan lasts forever. Ours, though, has an extra-thick aluminum core and is made with four layers of the highest-graded PFOA-free coating, making it as durable as it gets. Over easy? Easy.

Why it's great

  • Quality Nonstick: We like to tell it like it is. All Nonstick pans will eventually need to be replaced. But ours lasts longer for a few reasons…
  • Thick, 4.0mm Aluminum Core: This pan will never warp. It heats quickly and evenly across every inch. 
  • Plasma Primer: We coat the surface first – like the first coat of primer you use before painting walls. Similarly, the nonstick coating goes on smoothly and stays on longer. 
  • Nonstick PFOA-Free Coating: We apply not just one, but four layers of PFOA-free, platinum-grade, nonstick coating. 
  • Textured Surface: Microscopic peaks and valleys allow for more nonstick surface area, so it's harder to wear down. 
  • Stain-Resistant Body: A double-ceramic coating makes the outside as easy to clean as the nonstick inside.
  • Larger Cooking Surface: Not all pans are created equal. We expanded ours, so our 10” pan holds 20% more than other 10” pans. Way more space to work with!
  • Heat Retention: Unlike cheaper pans, when you add cold ingredients to a Misen pan, the temperature won't drop so you get better searing, more evenly cooked food. Total time saver, too.
  • Even Heating: Those aluminum layers help the heat dissipate evenly across the surface. From edge to edge, everything cooks and browns evenly.
  • Ergonomic, Stay-Cool Handle: The Y-shaped base, hollowed-out center and hole at the tip keep the handle cool – no mitts, no burns. The rounded design is more comfy in your hand and it’s awesome looking. 
  • Universal: Safe for gas, electric, and induction stoves and ovens.

Note: You may notice other nonstick cookware is 5-ply, Not ours, and here’s why: We don’t want you to waste your money. Extra layers are what allows pans to withstand high heat, but high heat literally ruins the nonstick. So what’s good for stainless is a waste for nonstick. In other words, 5-ply just increases your cost with no upside.

A Few Reasons You Shouldn’t Buy this

Our pan isn’t perfect for everyone, and we don’t want anyone to be upset after purchasing our gear. So here are a few reasons to avoid this pan.

You prefer to use the dishwasher to clean cookware

Our nonstick is dishwasher safe, but you really should avoid it to maintain the nonstick surface, which will break down faster in the dishwasher. If handwashing isn't your thing (no judgement!) then you'll probably not enjoy maintaining this pan. We'd suggest Stainless Steel cookware which is impossible to destroy and ideal for dishwashers.

You have an unlimited budget for nonstick.

Is this the greatest nonstick pan ever made? No, but it's pretty damn close to the stuff that costs $200+ (especially when it comes to durability). More expensive pans have copper or steel cores which help with heat retention. For our money, those things are nice, but don't matter too much in day-to-day cooking unless you're a professional chef. But hey, we loved cooking with them when we tested them - so if you have the budget then you may want to check them out.

You want a pan that'll last forever.

We hate replacing nonstick pans too. Unfortunately, there is no nonstick cookware on Earth that'll last forever, Misen included. It'll last longer than most, but if you're looking for the forever pan we'd avoid this pan. Instead we'd recommend Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel, which are pretty much guaranteed to last for life.

    Awesome pan and they stand behind their warranty

    The pan is awesome. They certainly last longer than any other non-stick fry pan I have ever owned and the surface dies not break down. Additionally, I had an issue with a previous item and they stood behind their product and made things right with me. Couldn't ask for anything more.

    Another Success

    I have the 8" nonstick pan that you rolled out initially. It holds up well with daily use. I bought this 8" nonstick pan because I felt I needed two 8" nonstick pans. I like the weight, and the cool and easy-to-hold handle the most. It performs like the other 8" pan. So far, this new pan holds up in the oven and like the previous pan, I expect it to do equally well with daily use.
