A long serrated blade earns its keep in kitchens where crusty loaves, layer cakes, and juicy melons are regular business. The 10-inch White Serrated Knife uses AUS-8 Japanese steel with wide-set wave serrations, so it grips and saws through tough crusts without tearing the crumb, then glides through soft cake layers or tomato skins without crushing them. The balanced blade thickness makes it feel controlled rather than clumsy, which matters when you're cutting delicate slices for presentation.
The ergonomic sloped bolster and durable POM handle keep your grip natural during longer cuts, like slicing a whole boule or a full sheet cake, and the handle holds up well to repeated hand washing. If you're building out a fuller lineup, it pairs naturally with a paring knife for detail work or a 2-piece knife set for everyday chopping and slicing needs.
Like all Misen blades, this one is easiest to maintain with hand washing and immediate drying, and a sharpening every 4-6 months keeps the serrations biting cleanly. If white isn't your color, the same knife is available in other finishes, including the gray serrated knife, so you can match it to your existing set.
