The first impression was how well balanced it felt. It. is a heavy knife that gives the feeling of handling a sword. I've used it to slice meets, tomatoes and all types of breads and all to satisfaction. I highly recommended it to anyone that spends time in the kitchen.

We love the flexibility of this knife - it’s awesome for slicing bread but great also for many other uses due to its length and the flexibility of the serrated edge.

Definitely a favorite - this one is for the outdoor kitchen for grilling & smoking.

Quality is great, as has been all of my Misen products to this point. Knife is super sharp. Cut into my cutting

board pretty good trying to get through an overcooked crust. Only reason the knife isn’t 5 starts is I feel like the handle puts your hand too close to the cutting board when trying to get through the bottom of a loaf of bread. This lead to me using the tip of the knife more than I would like to get through the crust. Which is why I cut into my cutting board so much. Over still very pleased with the purchase.
